Our monthly all-livestreamed 3rd Season, “Risk-Takers and Game-Changers,” kicks off with David Hughes, the celebrated founder of the PlantVillage Project.

2021 was a good year for David.

Not only was he named Huck Chair in Global Food Security, he also made Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business” list and was dubbed one of “America’s Greatest Disruptors” by Newsweek. And now USAID is granting him up to $39 million to co-lead a Feed the Future Innovation lab for Current & Emerging Threats to Crops.

David didn’t win all these accolades by playing it safe or following all the rules. We’re going to talk to him about that, maybe break a few rules of our own, and take live questions from you at the end.
